See below for pictures from the media day/open practice. It was nice to see the players out on the field. No real insights except that I was impressed by the infield and outfield arms in general. That's something that you can't determine from internet box scores.
Opening Day is tomorrow, first pitch at 7:05 at Hummer Sports Park. As far as I know the broadcast on KMAJ 1440 AM is still planned, so bring your headphones.
The Royals just swept the Yankees, and NBC baseball returns to Topeka tomorrow. It's a great time to be a baseball fan in northeast Kansas. See you at the ballgame!
