The Ichabods were swept in doubleheaders at Emporia and Missouri Western (at Phil Welch Stadium, the Saints' home field). Golden Giants numbers combined for all 4 weekend games:
Jerad Head was 5 for 12 with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts, scoring 3 runs and batting 2 in.
Randy Wild was 4 for 11 with 4 K's and no walks, scoring one run and batting one in. Randy pitched game 1 against Western allowing 3 runs, all unearned, on 5 hits and 5 walks, striking out 5.
Brian Martinek was 2 for 12 with a walk and 2 strikeouts, scoring one run and batting one in.
Jake Lenherr took the loss in game 1 at Emporia, allowing 6 earned runs on 9 hits and 3 walks, striking out 4.
