Ryne has a good chance to be Cloud County's closer this spring after transfering from Johnson County. His bio on the team roster describes him a having "a lively fastball, a very good late breaking curve and a good feel for a change-up."
Also of note is Ryne's no-hitter during the regional championship game in his senior year at Topeka West.
