The Jayhawk League has expanded to 7 teams with the addition of the Wichita Twins (leaving the WJL) and the Slashers (formerly independent). The Jayhawk League was reduced to 5 teams last season when the Topeka Capitals ceased operations.
Based on the posted schedules of Dodge City and the Springfield Generals, it is still my belief that the Springfield Slashers have relocated to Joplin's Joe Becker Stadium. However, there are still references to the "Springfield Slashers" out there as well.

If there is a team based in Joplin could someone email me contact info.- we're a new team/league in Tulsa - would like some extra games with teams somewhat within the Tulsa area or any teams coming through Tulsa contact us. Thanks.
