Sorry folks, I missed some games last weekend. New Mexico opened it season with a three game series at twelfth-ranked Arizona. The Lobos were swept, losing 9-0, 14-5, and 15-6. Golden Giant Nick Carlson struck out in a single pinch hit at-bat in the 9th inning of the second game.
