Just picked up info that Beatrice took both games from Topeka Saturday, 10-0 and 6-2.
That leaves Chillicothe 1-1/2 games ahead of St. Joseph (two in "lost" column) and 3 games ahead of Topeka (four in "lost" column).
That means any combination of subsequent Chillicothe league wins and Topeka league losses totaling three will eliminate Topeka from the North title race, and any combination of Chillicothe wins and St. Joseph losses totaling four will eliminate St. Joe.
