The Golden Giants lost to the Parkvile Sluggers by the score of 7-2 in Parkville on Friday. The Giants consistently made contact at the plate, but most of the balls put in play found a Parkville glove or went into the tall infield grass for an easy groundout.
Highlights for the Golden Giants: Nice defensive plays by Jake Dean in the 5th and Nick Carlson in the 6th, Jon Hansen's solid pitching performance in the 8th, and Jerad Head's stand-up double off the left field wall in the 9th.
