The Chillicothe Mudcats travel to the Lake Shawnee Baseball Complex to face the Topeka Golden Giants tonight at 7:00 p.m. A Chillicothe webcast should be available if you can't make it to the ballpark.

Just curious why there are no concessions at Lake Shawnee ballpark. Also wondering why the crowds are so incredibly quiet. Both of these factors make it hard to bring kids to the game without getting an evil glare from a silent older fan every time my kids speak just a bit loudly. Baseball games are meant to be fun. Come on. We used to love going to the games at Falley Field and at Hummer Park. This year's games feel like a church service. Shhhh!
Thanks for the concessions tip. We'll give the field another try. And this time we'll bring a whole bunch of loud kids to cheer for the team (which is awesome this year) and make the fans wake up a bit.

There are concessions, but in a separate building right behind the Giants' field. It's shared with the youth baseball fields surrounding the ballpark.
I'm all for a little more vocal fanbase though.
