NBC on ESPN?

A recent Google News search turned up the following three articles about the Military All-Stars team:

All 3 articles mention that the team has a chance to be on ESPN during this year's NBC World Series.

On the NBC web page for the 72nd annual World Series, Tournament Director Jerry Taylor said to contact him with any questions, so I did. He did confirm that the Military All-Stars will receive a berth to this year's World Series, and they (the Military All-Stars) "have contacted ESPN regarding coverage of their games."

National coverage of an NBC World Series game? It seems to good to be true. We'll just have to wait a few months to find out if it actually happens.
