Giants win big on opening night, 14-3
The Topeka Golden Giants opened the 2009 season by defeating the visiting Clarinda A's by an 11 run margin. The Giants scored 14 runs on 13 hits. The A's scored 3 runs on 7 hits, with 5 miscues in the field.

Time change for opening night (plus free T-Shirts!)
The start time for Sunday's home opener against the Clarinda A's has been moved up to 5:00 p.m. First pitch was previously scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Sunday will also be Capitol-Federal Savings T-shirt night. The first 100 fans will receive a free Golden Giants T-shirt courtesy of Cap-Fed.

Media Night on Friday is open to the public

Friday May 29th @ 6 :00 pm the Topeka Golden Giants Baseball Team will be convening in Topeka at the beautiful Lake Shawnee Baseball Complex. This is open to press and public. The players and Coaches will be available for interviews. This is also the time that the players meet their host families. Come on out and see the New Uniforms and fresh faces.We are ready for baseball.
